Crossfit is a training method which originated from the United States of America. It is used by military units, police academies, professional athletes, martial artists and people who love training hard. It was introduced to me by my friend, Lucas who loves to keep fit.

He cleared the wrong perception I had about crossfit as a sport that one needs to be in an impressive shape to be good at it. Actually, the workouts can be scaled to any fitness level and this makes it great for beginners. He recommended that I enroll for a basic course like he did so that I will be able to do all of the exercises correctly. After that, I can then proceed to the workout of the day as prescribed by the crossfit trainer.

He also mentioned the benefits of crossfit which include the following:

He told me that if I want to gain overall fitness, build muscles, get rid of fat and train like an athlete then I should go for crossfit.

Generally, there are different levels for each workout for advanced, intermediate and beginner exercises. As many of the exercises are against the clock, you can regulate your training by going as slow and easy or as hard and fast as your personal fitness levels can permit.

In summary, I will continue doing Crossfit sport in the near future. It blows away completely any workout for bodybuilding that I have ever done. Now I am a crossfit addict.
